Frequently Asked Questions

  • I like to call the evaluation "Get to Know You Day." We’ll start by chatting about what brings you in and any previous treatments you’ve tried. From there, I’ll perform a thorough hands-on assessment where I watch you move and test your strength, range of motion, joint mobility, and more. I make it a priority to educate you on my findings and how they relate to what you’re experiencing. We’ll finish by setting our goals together, and I’ll give you some "homework" to kickstart your progress. Most times, I am continuing to learn about you, your tendencies, and your symptoms through the first three appointments.

  • Because every body is different, there isn’t a black and white answer to this. Think of your plan of care as steps:
    1. I spend time getting to know you, what brings you in, and your symptoms.
    2. I treat what I find. We continue open communication about what’s working, what’s not, and what’s changing.
    3. You return to the wild! You’re tackling life and have met your goals!
    4. Wellness/maintenance - you return as needed to keep those pesky symptoms as bay

I can’t predict the exact number of sessions you will need as each person’s journey is different. But, I promise if you trust the process and do your homework, we will make quicker strides!

  • Your initial evaluation is 1 hour. Follow-up sessions are also 1 hour in length, with shorter options available as needed.

  • You can use the contact form at the bottom of this page or give me a call to get your first session on the calendar!

  • Come in something you are comfortable moving in. During our session, I’ll want to see how you move through various patterns—like a squat, reaching overhead, or walking—so athletic wear or flexible clothing is usually best.

  • InForm is a cash-based clinic, which means I do not contract with insurance companies. This allows me to provide high-quality, one-on-one care without outside restrictions. I accept credit/debit, HSA/FSA cards, checks, and cash. If your insurance plan allows for out-of-network providers, I can provide you with a "superbill" that you can submit for direct reimbursement.

  • Dry needling involves using thin, sterile needles to release tension in tight or painful muscles. I may also use electrical stimulation for added benefit. It’s called "dry" because nothing is injected. Most people describe a deep ache or a quick muscle twitch—it is generally more uncomfortable than painful, and many patients feel noticeable relief immediately after.
